A true collector’s piece from IKEA’s early 2000s designer collaboration era.
The KILA desk lamp, designed by Harry Allen — best known for his iconic "Bank in the Form of a Pig" and a MoMA featured artist — brings a playful and bright touch to your desk. The rollerskate wheels are a direct tribute to Allen's love for roller skating, with a wink to 1960s design but feeling futuristic and a bit industrial at the same time. The 'KILA' was recognized for its design and received a special mention in I.D. Magazine's 2004 Design Review.
Originally sold for a limited time and now discontinued, it’s become a sought-after gem among design lovers and collectors of early 2000s IKEA. LED-lamp and plug included. Don't miss your chance to own an affordable yet very wanted design object!
Condition: Excellent, better than expected given its age. The lamp is in perfect working condition with original wiring.
The plug is changed for a LED-plug, so that a more sustainable and energy-friendly LED-lamp can be used (lamp included).
Dimensions (HxWxD): 38x60x22cm
