Yoga, a Space Age coffee table from Michel Cadestin’s Yoga series for Airborne, designed in 1960. The wide white fibreglass base flares out from a cylindrical pedestal with a white plastic top. In the centre, a translucent orange acrylic lid containing a bar element that you will want to look at every single day. The same model is held a/o in the Design Museum Brussels collection.
Cadestin (b. 1942) trained at the École Boulle and furnished the Centre Pompidou in 1978. His Airborne designs are key pieces of French pop design.
